This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your Personal Information.
COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information is data that can be used to identify or contact a single person.
You may be asked to provide your Personal Information anytime you are in contact with JTAT Services LLC or a Company affiliated JTAT Services LLC. JTAT Services LLC and its affiliates may share this Personal Information with each other and use it consistent with this Privacy Policy. JTAT Services LLC and its affiliates may also combine Personal Information with other information to provide and improve our products, services, content, and advertising. You are not required to provide the Personal Information that we have requested, however, if you choose not to share the information, we may not be able to provide certain requested services or respond to customer service requests.
Personal information we may collect
When you create a JTAT Services LLC ID, sign up for emails, apply for commercial credit, purchase a product, download a software update, connect to our services, visit our website or use our online tools, provide referrals or references, use our social media or email accounts, contact us, or participate in an online survey, we may collect a variety of information, such as:
contact details including name, email, telephone number and shipping, billing address;
login and account information, including screen name, password and unique user ID;
personal details including gender, hometown, date of birth and purchase history;
Access data including location, type of device, software systems used, date and time behaviors;
payment or credit card information;
financial data;
images, photos, and videos;
personal preferences, store, and marketing preferences, and website activity.
When you share your content with others using JTAT Services LLC products, send gift certificates and products, or invite others to participate in JTAT Services LLC services or social media, JTAT Services LLC may collect the information you provide about those people as well. JTAT Services LLC will use such information to fulfill your requests, provide the relevant product or service, or for anti-fraud purposes. In certain jurisdictions, we may ask for a government-issued ID to verify your identity before accessing services. We only process personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation, if the subject has manifestly made that information public; if permitted under local law; or if necessary and proper under one or more of the exceptions in Art. 9 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
How we use your Personal Information
We may process your Personal Information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, with your consent, for compliance with legal obligations, or when we have assessed it is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by JTAT Services LLC or a third party to whom it may be necessary to disclose information.
We may use your personal data:
1- to keep you informed about JTAT Services LLC’s latest product and/or service announcements, software updates, website changes, and upcoming events. If you don’t want to be on our mailing list, you can opt-out anytime by updating your preferences.
2- to create, develop, operate, deliver, and improve our products, services, content, and advertising, and for loss prevention and anti-fraud purposes. We may also use Personal Information for account management and security purposes, including for the benefit of all our users. When used for anti-fraud purposes related to an online transaction with us, Personal Information is only used as strictly necessary and within the scope of legitimate JTAT Services LLC interests to protect customers and services. We may validate the information provided by you using publicly accessible sources.
3- to determine permitted access and use of services.
4- to send important notices related to such things as purchases and changes to our terms, conditions, and policies. This information is important to your interaction with JTAT Services LLC and you are not able to opt-out of receiving these communications.
5- for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, and research to improve JTAT Services LLC’s products, services, and customer communications.
6- to administer sweepstakes, contests, and social media or other online or public promotions.
Other Sources of your Personal Information
We may have received your Personal Information from other persons if that person has shared their content with you using JTAT Services LLC’s products, send gift certificates, and products, or invited you to participate in JTAT Services LLC’s services or social media promotions or websites; or we may have received Personal Information from a third party for validation purposes for security and fraud prevention purposes; or from acquiring datasets that contain videos, images, and other data that could be identifiable; or from third party social media sites. The collection of data is in accordance with applicable law in the jurisdiction where the accessed data is hosted.
COLLECTION AND USE OF NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION
We also collect data in a form that does not, on its own, create a direct association with any specific individual. We may collect, use, transfer, and disclose Non-Personal Information for any purpose. The following are some examples of Non-Personal Information that we collect and how we may use it:
We may collect information such as occupation, language, zip code, area code, unique device identifier, referrer URL, location, and the time zone to better understand consumer behavior and improve our products, services, and advertising.
We may collect information regarding customer activities on our website, our applications and software downloads, on our stores, and from our other products and services. We aggregate this information and use it to evaluate the effectiveness and interest in our website offerings, products, and services that are of most interest. Such aggregated data is considered non‑Personal Information.
We may collect and store details of how you use our services, including search queries. This information may be used to improve search results or promotional offers for our products and services. This type of information is not connected to your IP address except in limited circumstances to improve internet operations and security.
With your express consent, we may collect data about how you use your device and applications in order to help app developers improve their applications. Your consent will be requested before we collect this information.
In cases where we combine Non-Personal and Personal Information, that data will be treated as Personal Information.
Cookies and Other Technologies
JTAT Services LLC’s applications software, websites, online services, email messages, and advertisements may use “cookies” and other technologies such as pixel tags and web beacons. These technologies help us understand user behavior, show us how customers use our website, help us measure and improve our advertisements and search for information. Information collected by cookies is generally treated as Non-Personal Information; however, in the case where local laws designate Internet Protocol (IP) address as Personal Information, we will treat it as such, including if that “personal data” is combined with Non-Personal Information.
We may deliver advertisements via advertising platforms on our site, in our software, or as part of our applications. If you do not wish to receive ads that are targeted to you based on your interests and online behavior, or other collected information, you can choose to restrict ad delivery via browser settings and through the use of third-party applications. We do not monitor nor share information with unassociated third-party app developers or browser companies and you are advised to contact those third parties directly for customer service. You may still see ads on our site that are not connected to advertising platforms that are part of our website content offering.
JTAT Services LLC and our partners also use cookies and other technologies to retain Personal Information when you use our website, online services, and applications to personalize your user experience. For example, we may personalize messages based on your first name to welcome you back to our site or change the language of the site to your identified language or the language of the location from where you are accessing our site. We also adjust screen size and other user attributes depending on the device you are using. All of these enhancements are for the purpose of improving customer experiences. You have the right to object at any time to processing of personal data for Direct Marketing and can disable associated cookies in your browser settings. In some cases, disabling cookies will affect your access to information and features.
Some information is automatically collected and stored in log files. This information includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type and language, Internet service provider (ISP), referring and exit websites and applications, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information to understand and analyze trends, to administer the site, to learn about user behavior on the site, to improve our product and services, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. JTAT Services LLC may use this information in our marketing and advertising services.
Email messages may contain a clickable URL that links to specific content on the JTAT Services LLC website. When a customer clicks this link, he passes through a separate web server before arriving at the destination page on our website. We track this click-through data for marketing purposes and to help us determine interest in particular topics and measure the effectiveness of our customer communications. If you prefer not to be tracked in this way, you should not click text or graphic links in the email messages.
Pixel tags enable us to assess device types, locations, and other information. We use this information for customer service enhancements. For example, it allows us to identify the proper format to send an email message, i.e., to a mobile device vs. a PC, and to determine if the email was opened. This information may be used, for example, to assess the effectiveness of email timing and frequency.
DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES
JTAT Services LLC may share Personal and Non-Personal Information to its third-party partners. Personal Information will only be shared by JTAT Services LLC to provide or improve our products, services, and advertising; it will not be shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Service Providers
JTAT Services LLC shares Personal Information with companies who provide services such as information processing, extending credit, fulfilling customer orders, shipping services, managing customer data, providing customer service, assessing interest in our products and services, and conducting customer surveys. These companies are obligated to protect your information in the same way as JTAT Services LLC.
Others
JTAT Services LLC may disclose information about as required by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence. We will disclose the required information if we determine disclosure is necessary or appropriate for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, including in response to legal subpoenas. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users. Additionally, in the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale we may transfer any and all Personal Information we collect to the relevant third party.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
JTAT Services LLC’s online properties protect your Personal Information during transit using encryption such as Transport Layer Security (TLS). When your personal data is stored by JTAT Services LLC, we use computer systems with physical security measures and/or third-party Cloud services with encrypted formats and digital security systems.
Personal information and content you share is visible to other users and can be read, collected, or used by them. You are responsible for the Personal Information you choose to share or submit in these instances and in public forums. For example, if you list your name and email address in a forum posting, that information is public and accessible by anyone who views it—this includes postings on JTAT Services LLC’s social media properties like Facebook or Twitter.
If you use public sharing software or private VPNs, such as for a Company for which you work, that information may be accessed by others on your sharing platform or by your Oh Honey Please, LLC or VPN owner. JTAT Services LLC does not have access or control for these third parties.
Automated Decision-Making
JTAT Services LLC does not use automated decision-making or profiling tools that significantly affect you.
Retention of Personal Information
JTAT Services LLC will retain your Personal Information only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy and as required by law. We only retain Personal Information for the shortest possible period to achieve relevant goals and achieve the purpose of collection unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Access to Personal Information
Contact information and preferences can be updated via your account sign-in to keep it current. Upon request, we will provide you with access (including a copy) to Personal Information retained by JTAT Services LLC. You may request that we correct data that is inaccurate, or delete data if JTAT Services LLC does not need to retain it by law or for legitimate business purposes. We may decline to process requests that are frivolous, jeopardize the privacy of others, are impractical, or are not required by local law. We may also decline to delete or provide access to data if we believe doing so would affect our legitimate use of data for anti-fraud and security purposes. If we do not have an online tool for access to your data, you may email EMAIL CONTACT FOR PRIVACY DATA with your request. We will respond to any request within one month. Such a response may include the exercise of the option to extend the period of response an additional two months depending on the complexity and number of requests. We will also communicate any corrections or deletion of personal data, or requests for restriction of processing, to each recipient to whom the personal data have been disclosed, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort.
Security Breach Notification
In the event there is a security breach that puts your Personal Information at risk, we will notify you within 72 hours of the discovery of that breach, or provide you with an explanation of any delay in notice. The notification shall contain the nature of the breach, who to contact regarding the breach, how the breach may affect you, and the steps JTAT Services LLC is taking to address the breach and attempts to reduce and control the consequences of the breach.
CHILDREN’S PERSONAL INFORMATION
Children under the age of 13, or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, i.e., 16 in the EU, are not permitted to create JTAT Services LLC IDs or accounts unless their parent provided verifiable consent. If we discover we have collected the Personal Information of a child under 13, or equivalent minimum age depending on the jurisdiction, without the proper authorization, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.
Notice for Minors
JTAT Services LLC may offer interactive services that allow you to post content to share publicly or with friends. At any time, you can delete or remove content you have posted using the deletion or removal options within our services. If you have questions about how to remove the content in a specific service or if you would like additional assistance with deletion you can contact our JTAT Services LLC. Removal of the content may not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of that content or information posted through the services.
OTHER PROVISIONS
Location-Based Services
JTAT Services LLC and our partners and licensees may collect, use, and share precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your computer or device. Where available, location-based services may use GPS, Bluetooth, and your IP Address, along with crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspot and cell tower locations, and other technologies to determine your devices’ approximate location. Unless you provide consent, this location data is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you and is used by JTAT Services LLC and our partners to provide and improve location-based products and services.
Third‑Party Sites and Services
JTAT Services LLC websites, products, applications, and services may contain links to third-party websites, products, and services. Our products and services may also use or offer products or services from third parties. Information collected by third parties, which may include Personal Information is governed by their privacy practices, not JTAT Services LLC’s.
Do Not Track
JTAT Services LLC does not track its customers over time and across third-party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. However, some third-party sites do keep track of your browsing activities when they serve you content, which enables them to tailor what they present to you. If you are visiting such sites, Browsers may allow you to set the DNT signal on your browser so that third parties (particularly advertisers) know you do not want to be tracked.
Third parties that have content embedded on JTAT Services LLC’s websites such as a social feature, or ad delivery may set cookies on a user’s browser and/or obtain information about the fact that a web browser visited a specific JTAT Services LLC website from a certain IP address. Third parties cannot collect any other personally identifiable information from JTAT Services LLC’s websites unless you provide it to them directly.
International Users
All the information you provide may be transferred or accessed by entities around the world as described in this Privacy Policy. JTAT Services LLC uses approved Model Contractual Clauses for the international transfer of Personal Information collected in the European Economic Area and Switzerland and abides by the GDPR.
